He was born in Viña del mar in 1901 and died in 1952 in Santiago of Chile. He studied at San Ignacio school directed by the Company of Jesus. In 1918 he joined the Universidad Catolica to study law and in 1923 he recieved as a lawyer, but his religious passion and his love to God  led him to enter the Compañy of Jesus to become a priest in 1933.

Alberto Hurtado approached the church to the youngest, he worked as professor in schools and in Universidad Católica, and helped the poorest people, he founded the Hogar de Cristo, an institution thart helps poor people who don't have home and have to live in street.

I think that the things that Alberto Hurtado did are very important because it teach people that it is necesary to help people with limited resources (you must to be empathetic independent of your beliefs) and those teaching continue until today.

If I had the chance to meet him, I would ask him what is the key to create a society in wich doesn't exist the inequality.

In this subject I learnt several art techniques, like stencil, graffiti, xilography, and many more. We also take photographs, learnt about different cultures from Chile, like the mapuche culture, wich my teacher was a part of it, and we did a lot of group work. I think that subjects like Art are very important for everybody and shouldn't be a underestimated or considered less than other classes like maths or science just because it doesn't lead to careers or jobs that have a hi...
